Glow in the Dark Ring Toss

I have had a pack of glow bracelets sitting around the house for weeks and one gloomy, rainy day decided to shut the shades & lights and play ring toss with them!

We could have painted a glass bottle with glow in the dark paint...but I didn't have any of that laying around. We found a piece to her train set {it's part of the fountain for it} that worked just fine. It didn't glow...but it was light enough for her to see where to toss it.

Bug had a fun time playing this game. I think we will be using the glow bracelets for ring toss at her Circus party...although it won't be dark out. They seemed to be the perfect size...plus 12 of them only cost a dollar from Target!

You might find me over at some of these link parties.

  1. So cool!!!! I love those little glow bracelets! I never thought to play ring toss with them. We're gonna have to do that! We always buy them for 4th of July (and halloween). I like to put them on the kids if they are going to be out after dark. :-)
Thanks for linking up with my Super Link Party! :-)

    1. OK, so 4th of July... we got back from doing fireworks, so I took the kids' glow bracelets and set up a ring toss game! I made the base out of mega-blocks. lol
The kids LOVED it!!! Thank you so much for this idea!!!
