Worm Hot Dogs & Wild Rice
Here is an easy peasy lunch/dinner for the kiddos to eat on Halloween. Here's how to make it:
You can put these worm dogs over whatever you'd like, but I thought wild rice would look best as the dirt.
Make your wild rice.
(I'm a box rice kinda person...but if you make it another way then go for it.)
Cut your hot dog into strips and boil (or microwave) your strips in a pan. I cut the dogs in half, then each half in half making 4 strips. Skinnier strips might work well too if you can do it! You will see them starting to curl up. So cool!
Mound your rice on a plate or bowl and position your worm dogs on top.
Let the kiddos have at it!
Don't miss a thing, keep up with me here:

Very clever, with the strips of hot dogs!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea for this month! :)
Very creative, maybe that will help get my kiddo's to eat wild rice. They will go for the white, but not for the wild.
