While shopping for someone in the Walmart baby section, we passed the store bought food pouches and Bug begged me to get her one. If you know me at all, or have been coming to this blog for a while, you know I refused to buy store bought baby food because of all the "extras" in them. Not to mention, it sure saved a pretty penny.
I was hesitant to get it because it was just pureed food in a squeezable pouch. I caved. She took one taste. She didn't like it.
When we got home, I wondered if there was a reusable pouch that I could fill myself with the kind of food she did like! Guess what I found. As if the first picture of the post didn't give it away, it was Little Green Pouch! Once Bug saw it, she asked me to put it on her Christmas list.
Santa didn't get her the Little Green Pouch, I think he kinda forgot. (oops)
When our package of Little Green Pouches arrived, it was like a second Christmas to her. So funny! We couldn't wait to give them a try. I made the Apple Pie a la Mode recipe found on their website.
I love that I can make what I know my daughter will love and funnel or spoon it into this little travel pouch. (not to mention you know what you're giving your kiddo is real food with real nutrients)
She was even allowed to take it with her to sit on the couch. No mess! Booya!
They're also great for on the go.
Oh, and it's dishwasher safe too...say what?!
