Aphrodisiacs for Valentine's Day & Pine Nut Pie Recipe

So, ladies...we were all lovers and wives first before becoming mothers. I thought that I would write a post for all of you who need to spice things up!

Now, I think we all know the well known aphrodisiacs: oysters, chocolate, and chilies. How about coffee (the most socially accepted stimulant), or strawberries (a literary symbol of innocence, love, and virility). And, my favorite, pine nuts. Mmmm! They've been used since the Middle Ages to stimulate testosterone production, they are super high in zinc, which stimulates the libido. I think all of us can use a little libido stimulation sometimes!

So, here is a delicious little recipe for Pine Nut Pie. Silverware optional.

Happy hunting!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 XL eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp all purpose flour
1 Tbsp heavy cream
8 Tbsp melted butter
3/4 cup pine nuts
1 9” pie crust

Combine the sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, cream and butter in bowl, whisk until well blended. Fold in the pine nuts. Pour into the pie crust. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
