I Only Have Eyes For You | Monster Valentine with a Free Printable

With Valentine's Day coming up, I wanted to share with you all this cute Monster Valentine we created for Bug's preschool classmates. It's super fun for the kids to create for their friends and it includes a free printable.

The Process:
Clip a clothespin onto each large pom pom for easier handling. Dip the pom pom into the paint and press onto the left side of the card. (Make sure all sides are pressed to make a nice monster shape.)

Add arms & legs using your markers. (You may want to wait until your monster is dry for this part.)
Glue on as many googly eyes as you feel your monster should have!
Here's the tough part; wait for your monster to dry. We didn't, so we used DecoArt's Paint Markers to draw on a mouth (the marker would not draw over wet paint).

If you are making these for lots of kids, my advice would be to do each step on all the cards, then move on to the next and so on.

Don't forget to write who it's from. If you'd like a certain space for names, you can download this version of the printable.

These were such a blast to make! I hope all of her friends at school love them as much as we loved making them.
